my name is Jorge Molina Jr., and I am an artist based in Chicago, working across various mediums. For this project, I chose to explore digital art to create distinctive textures and innovative applications within my Creative Suite. Throughout this journey, I aimed to revisit my days of creating graffiti, seeking to establish my artistic presence throughout the city.
By merging my two worlds, I sought to integrate design principles with graphic design. This endeavor presented both challenges and opportunities for growth, requiring me to navigate multiple trials and errors. Ultimately, I arrived at a conceptual direction focused on the many trains that serve as canvases in the urban landscape. My designs reflect the constant overspray of my artwork while conveying the notion of how a graffiti artist's fleeting pastime can gradually fade away.
