When I moved to Chicago, the best way I got around the city was trying out new restaurants. Past all the hot dog and pizza shops, I got to try all sorts of dishes from other countries like Mexico, Pakistan, Ethiopia, and even from my home country of the Philippines! The list keeps growing, but that doesn't stop me though from continuing to eat at my favorite spots, like the Mexican restaurant that inspired this shirt. It's based on the patterns and colors I always noticed, and I'm happy to have been able to design a tribute to it!
