In my practice I make imaginary environments, nonsensical places born out of intuition and the urge to create the world that I want to see. Meant for viewers to inhabit themselves as a fun adventure and escape from our turbulent real world, these environments inherently carry pieces of me as well. Over the four years I’ve lived here, Chicago has crept into my work and influenced my idea of a dream place.
