I have always approached design through the world of craft. Throughout my design journey, even as I tried to stray away from my paper craft background and into fully digital work, I have always been drawn back to the joy of creating something with my hands.
New to the city, this piece captures some of the textures, colors, and patterns of Chicago that I observed this October and November through craft, from the water of Lake Michigan and the crunch of fallen leaves beneath my feet to the interweaving paths of the L lines and the blanket of unexpected November snow that quickly melted away.
