At the beginning of my design process I thought back to the submission prompt of what the design community in Chicago means to me. Of course that question was met with an impossible thought of "how can I do my feelings justice in design terms"? So, I thought of all of my artist friends I know in Chicago and their contribution to myself as a creative and found such a broad spectrum of genres, mediums, modus operandi, etc.

There was when I decided to incorporate all of them in my design, the question was how I was going to achieve that. One thing I see in common in all of these people is the passion and dreams that lie behind their eyes, the way they talk about their work and goals as creatives. This timeless tee nests the window to all of these artists' mind's eye in a collage of collaboration, just like the creative community in the city that we love.
